(MedPage Today) -- Case Study:  An 85 year-old woman was admitted with COPD and was treated with bronchodilators, oral
glucocorticoids, antibiotics, and non-invasive ventilation for about 7 days. The patient's family
states a new thin white film has appeared on the patient's cornea. The film does not slough
with swabbing, and the patient is asymptomatic.
